The rest of Grandma's visit...

This one's gonna have a lot of pictures:)
On the way home from the towers, we missed an exit and ended up having to go down to the capital city. It's the "administrative capital" so when we have to do immigration stuff, it's where we go. It's only a few years old and well planned out...the buildings are all interesting and huge and gorgeous... it was a great missed exit!
Isaac didn't really care all that much:)
The Highlands were fun too...
On the way up we stopped by the mountain tribal people's roadside shop/stands ...And admired the scenery... the highlands is literally cut out of a tropical rainforest...The weather is awesome... we love making a fire in the fireplace!
We also went to the butterfly garden.
The last time we were there, the guide told us how to pick up butterflies- you can only touch UNDER their wings...if you touch the top the powdery color stuff comes off and it injures them.
Isaac's head was the perfect place to display the pretty butterflies...And the not so pretty creatures:)He didn't mind though... he spend most of the day in his favorite position...We also drove up a NARROW winding mountain road up to the Tea Plantation...the kind of road that you have to honk before each corner so you avoid a head on collision. Again, the tea factory was cool, but the best part is the weather (which you can't feel in pictures) and the smell (tea smells awesome!)We drove further up the NARROW mountain road that got even steeper toward the top (its the highest paved road in our country:) and attempted to go on the "Mossy Forest" trail... but it started raining as soon as we got there, so we just took a quick picture at the beginning of the trail and came back- imagine that? Rain in a rainforest?!The other highlands standby is "Kumar's restaurant" or "Restoran Kumar." We've eaten there nearly every time we eat out in the highlands. He's got delicious tandoori chicken AND they make Strawberry and Honey Roti... (a fried piece of dough with strawberry and honey...mmmmmm!) Grandma really liked it!
Grandma is nearly home, but now Granddaddy, Grandmama, Uncle Zach, Aunt Heather, and cousins Jeremiah, Kaelyn, and Adrienne are on their way over...the fun isn't over yet! Stay tuned...
