GammaLou's Visit So Far...

Anthony's mom is here and we're having a great time hanging out.

When she got here the first thing (after sleeping because her plane arrived after midnight) we did was open yet another suitcase full of baby stuff ...I have to admit. Suitcases full of fun stuff never gets old. Ever. Especially when they include, Jiffy Cornbread mix, Herbal Essences mousse, Abercrombie flip-flops, undershirts, and deodorant (see? we DO live in a foreign country when Degree can make our day!)
We've been shopping. It's a 2 week delayed birthday spoiling:) It helps that we wear the same size (Sharon and Grandma...except our shoes...my feet are huge:) so when something looks cute on one person we simply ask the salesperson to get the same thing in the same size for the other one. We actually did end up with a few of the same things... but we figured we live on opposite sides of the world, so it won't be embarrassing if we wear it on the same day.
We've been to Starbucks. (Isaac wasn't a huge fan). Anthony's birthday spoiling happened at this mall... he got a new iPod! Woohoo!
And just as an Isaac milestone... we gave him his first bottle this week. He took it like a champ and daddy did pretty good giving it to him!
Isaac is overall a good baby, but for those of you who have asked...yes, he does have his bad days. Last night before bed and this afternoon were both fantastic examples of how fussy he can be! Grandma is still in love with him despite the tears!Grandma ran the 15k "River Run" last weekend in Jacksonville, FL. She brought her enthusiasm for running to Asia and managed to get Anthony out and running this morning. They did great, except the equatorial-sun was more than what they bargained for and returned a bit earlier than planned. In the time that they DID run, Anthony admitted that she was fast and hard to keep up with!
More pics to come! We'll be going to the Highlands for Easter...woohoo!

I have to admit I didn't spot Isaac among the bootie at first!

There's something about babies' cry faces that I find so cute! Maybe it's their gummy mouths, I don't know.
Sounds like a big week for y'all!
