Not much. They're all computer-animated. They're objects that have been given faces, personalities and human characteristics.
The main difference is this: Isaac loves one and is DEATHLY AFRAID of the other.
And I mean horrified.
Like the time I watched "Poltergeist" as a four-year-old horrified.
Yesterday Isaac woke up from his nap to find Isaiah watching "Baby Einstein," so of course he joined him. The second a crayon appeared on screen, Isaac screamed at the top of his lungs, ran all the way to the back corner of the house and wailed.
I've never seen him run so fast.
"Isaac, what's wrong? Why are you crying?"
"Daaaaaaaaaaddyyyy, craaaaaaaaayoooons!!!"
"What's wrong with crayons? You love drawing with crayons."
"The craaaaaayyyooooooons have faces, Daaaaaaaaaddyyyy!"
So there you go.
Crayons = good.
Faces = good.
Crayons with faces?
Isaac can think of nothing scarier.
Me? As long as "Baby Einstein" doesn't turn to a snowy, white-noise screen and a creepy little girl doesn't say, "They're here," I'm good.

Birds, the potty, dogs, sand and the ocean. These would currently be Asher's biggest fears. The only one I understand is the dogs (the street dogs sort of tried to eat him the other day), the rest are completely odd.
Who wouldn't be afraid of a crayon w/ a face, talking to you?? Does the face slowly disappear as the crayon gets used?? It loses the eyes and so only a nose and mouth are left? Now that's creepy...
Yeah...crayons with faces. Not sure where that comes from. At least he'll never encounter one in real life. Makes about as much since as Eden being scared of whales while living in the Texas panhandle.
oh well...next thing you know, he'll change his mind and want ONLY crayons with faces on them.

My first reaction: Would we really have let Sharon see "Poltergeist" at 4 years old? Six maybe, and even then that would have had to be her father's idea!! LOL
On a different note does Isaac have "traditional" crayons or some of the new twisty kind? Let me know!
i'm sooooo sorry i let you watch poltergeist so young (it was your uncle eddie's fault)! katie absolutely loves scarey movies and after reading your post jen watched it with her and, you got it, it scared her (but not till the end)! i'll be sure not to send isaac any crayons with faces (:
