We have so enjoyed the last 11 months. Isaac is about to start walking (he walks from object to object, but only short distances) so the next phase should be fun!
Here's some of his favorite things right now...
He still loves sleeping in his buaian, although now he's starting to realize that nap time means not-play-time, so he throws the occaisonal tantrum when first put in it...but a few minutes of bouncing and he's good to go.
Bananas. Oh my he loves bananas. We have to limit it to one per day, but that one goes down fast!
Reading books- particularly with daddy. (He's actually just sitting on his shoulder, but from this angle it looks like he's straddling his head...)
Spaghetti- this is new, but it was a big hit.
He also loves feeding himself. Sometimes it will seem like he's protesting about eating a certain food, when really he just wants to eat it himself!
"Softs"...it's the name for his stuffed elephant. He really is very soft and it slowly evolved into that name. He knows exactly what we mean when we say "Where's Softs?" or "Go get softs!" Softs is currently the only thing outside of people that he's willing to walk to...
Yay for 11 months!

ahhh, what cute pics, especially the one with softs....can hardly wait for the video of him walking...ok, don't want to rush him or anything....ya know, cherish these moments, they're only little for so long....but, ok, can't wait!!!!
Everything you said is exactly what Hazel is doing right now, too. Except the buaian, but only because we don't have one. She might enjoy sleeping in that, too. So anyway, either Hazel is slightly behind for almost 14 months, or Isaac is WAY ahead for 11 months. We'll go with the latter - it's good new for both of us.
I love Isaac's "Softs"! :) Every time we walk into IKEA I want one. What a sweet picture of him with his elephant!
yay! How fun :) Aashini loves bananas too! We give her one every morning for breakfast... she'll even wake up in the mornings and say "Banana, Banana" haha!
Aashini won't take anything from me out of a spoon anymore... she quit doing that a few months ago - she ONLY wants finger foods... unless I have Ice Cream and a spoon :)
